렌섬웨어 협박범이 업무용 계정으로 이메일을 보내왔다.
렌섬(몸값)웨어는 온라인을 통해 컴퓨터로 침입해들어와 컴퓨터의 파일들에 락을 건다.
일정 금액의 렌섬을 송금하면 비밀번호를 알려주어 락을 풀 수 있게 해주는 방식이다.
몇 년 전에 상당히 유행했던 것으로 알고있다.
실제로 예전 직장에서 내가 직접 당해본 적도 있었다.
당시 인사부서에서 근무했던 나는 영어로 도착한 "resume(이력서)"라는 이메일을
별 의심 없이 열어 첨부파일을 확인했다. 그게 바로 렌섬웨어 파일이었다.
그 이후로는 맞춤법이 이상하거나, 필요가 없는 메일의 첨부파일은 열람하지 않는다.
이번에는 파일에 락이 걸린 현상도 없고, 특히 켐이 연결된 컴퓨터도 없으므로
후까시용 가짜 협박 메일일 것이라 예상하고 내용을 읽었다.
그렇다면 영어 지식을 총동원해서 재미로 한 번 해석해보자.
